With support from the Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plan, The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) have launched the first ever industry-led smoking cessation program that combines free counseling with low-cost medication.

You’ll be surprised how easy it is.

This groundbreaking program is available to members of the entertainment industry, and offers approximately six weeks of individual, group, or telephone counseling, plus follow-up phone calls. Specifically designed for people in the entertainment industry and their families, the success rates of Picture Quitting are more than twice the national average for smoking cessation programs.

With Picture Quitting, we provide the tools and the support network to help put you in control, and help you quit smoking successfully. The first couple of visits are all about getting ready to quit. You and your counselor will choose a "Quit Day," so don’t think you have to walk in and quit on your first visit. You will also learn about the various types of counseling, as well as the newest smoking cessation medication options, so you and your counselor and MPTF physician can work together to find the choices that are right for you. This way, when your Quit Day arrives, you’ll be fully prepared to become a non-smoker.
